Community Talks and Workshops
 
Women’s Health Services offers a number of services for clients and community groups. Staff at WHS are available to visit community groups to provide talks, courses, workshops and activities. Groups are also welcome to come to WHS, so that women get to know our services and programs. Nurses, mental health professionals, nutritionists, community workers and fitness instructors can give information on a diverse range of topics (see below).

Interpreters and Bilingual Services
WHS staff are happy to use interpreters or bilingual workers.
If an interpreter is required for your group, please discuss this with us at the time of booking.
 
Cost
We have a sliding scale of charges for our community talks ranging from a gold coin donation to corporate rates depending on your group’s ability to pay.
 
Times and Dates
To receive information on independent community events as they occur, please join our E-Forum. WHS Programs and other Health Organisations may post event flyers and host post-event discussions through the forum. Membership is free.
